What Messages You Will Receive
When you book a dental appointment through a practice that uses Dental Document, you may receive text messages related to your appointment and care. Messages are sent on behalf of your dental practice, not by Dental Document directly.
How Consent Is Collected
After you book an appointment with a dental practice by phone, the system sends one text message confirming your appointment details. That confirmation message also asks if you would like to receive a reminder before your visit by replying with a keyword.
If you want to receive appointment reminders, reply with one of the following opt-in keywords:

Your Rights
Receiving text message reminders is completely optional and is not a condition of scheduling an appointment, receiving dental care, or purchasing any goods or services. You must actively reply YES to receive reminders. If you do not reply, you will not receive any additional messages and your appointment will not be affected.
Text message reminders and dental appointments are fully independent services. You may call your dental practice directly to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments at any time.
Your phone number is used solely for appointment-related communication from your dental practice. It is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes and is not used to send promotional or advertising messages.
About This Service
Text messages are sent by dental practices using the Dental Document platform, a dental practice management system developed by Casaway Capital, LLC. Messages are sent on behalf of individual dental practices, not by Dental Document directly. Each dental practice is responsible for obtaining patient consent and managing their patient communication preferences.
